The Handy Man will be responsible for performing repairs, installations, and general maintenance in residential or commercial settings, ensuring that all work meets safety standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various systems including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Perform carpentry tasks such as installing shelves, cabinets, and fixtures. Handle minor painting and drywall repairs to enhance the aesthetics of properties. Respond promptly to service requests and complete tasks within designated timeframes. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist with the installation of appliances and fixtures as needed. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions. Document completed work and report any additional issues that may require attention.

Experience

Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of building maintenance practices and repair techniques. Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in construction and repair work. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
