We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Person to join our team! Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and general fixtures
Conduct inspections of buildings and equipment to identify issues before they escalate
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents, prioritizing urgent repairs
Install or upgrade fixtures, appliances, locks, or other hardware as needed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while documenting all repairs and maintenance activities
Assist with setup and teardown for events or special projects within the facility
Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or installations when necessary
Requirements
Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar maintenance role with a broad skill set across multiple trades
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and basic appliance repair
Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and implement effective solutions quickly
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on work completed
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with safety protocols, basic knowledge of HVAC systems, or certification in relevant trades, electrical, gas fitting, plumbing, drywall, and carpentry.
