Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills to perform various maintenance and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance, repair, and installation work across client properties. Carry out
carpentry tasks
such as door repairs, trim work, cabinet installation, framing, and flooring. Handleplumbing work
, including fixing leaks, installing fixtures, unclogging drains, and minor pipe repairs. Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot repair issues. Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and completed within deadlines. Communicate effectively with clients and the team to ensure project satisfaction.Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of proven handyman experience
(must include carpentry and plumbing). Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and building materials. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be punctual, professional, and able to work independently.Preferred Skills:
Additional experience in electrical, painting, or general maintenance is a plus. Certification or trade qualification is an asset.
