Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in home repair and maintenance, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various repair tasks, from plumbing and electrical work to carpentry and general maintenance. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and aesthetics of residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions to ensure all repairs are completed promptly. Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed. Conduct inspections of properties to identify necessary repairs or maintenance tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Document completed work and report any additional issues or recommendations for future maintenance.

Experience

Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of building trades, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
