Overview

Raincity Handyman is a high quality home services handyman provider serving vancouver, burnaby and the north shore. Our most common tasks are drywall repair and painting, electrical and plumbing replacements, general home maintenance tasks, winterizing, small renos, outdoor repairs and installs such as fencing, garden boxes, stairs and decks.

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter/handy person to join our start-up focused team. This role is essential in executing our infield work, working independently, and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, experience in typical handyman tasks, a passion for jobs done right the first time, and the ability to foster a relationship focused customer experience. 70% of our work is referral/repeat customers.

Duties

Execute daily repairs prioritizing productivity and quality. Follow best practices, SOP, company policies, and safety procedures. Use our Jobber software to coordinate jobs and draft invoices on your phone. Collaborate with management to implement strategic initiatives that drive business success. Shop for supplies and manage tools Contribute to overall business success in a start-up environment.

Requirements

4 years experience in a self-directed role within construction/handyman industry Enjoy problem-solving, learning new technologies and techniques. You want to repair anything! Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple jobs per day/week. Familiarity with industry-specific tools. Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
