Job Summary

We are seeking contracting professional with basic power-tool and carpentry knowledge. The ideal candidate will be an independent contractor with a helper and their own tools and transportation. We specialize in installing PVC paneling and trim as well as cabinetry and storage units in garages, cold rooms, mechanical rooms and commercial spaces. We service a very high-end clientele which will expect precision craftsmanship and anything inferior will not be acceptable. Most of the work will entail accurately measuring and cutting PVC paneling with a miter-saw or table saw and impact-screwing in panels that are laser levelled.

Duties

Perform basic carpentry and electrical duties. Be committed to honoring scheduled dates and completing tasks on time. Be prepared to work with the client and make changes as needed. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations. Keep a neat and orderly workspace that is cleaned and stored safely at the end of the workday.. Assist with the removal and/or installation of fixtures, appliances, and other items as needed. Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each job. Measure and cut efficiently to minimize waste.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Handy Man/Contractor or in a similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary. A valid driver's license and personal transportation is required. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks safely.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
