Job Description

We've recently acquired a company that came with an HVAC division, and since then the phone hasn't stopped ringing. We're receiving a constant flow of calls and solicitation bids for HVAC work -- but right now, we don't have the right people in place to quote, bid, or execute on these jobs.

The Role:

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can be both an

HVAC Technician

and a

Sales Manager

. This is a unique hybrid role where you'll be hands-on with HVAC service and installation work

while also leading sales, bidding, and quoting

. You'll be the person to build this division from the ground up -- starting solo, wearing multiple hats, and eventually hiring and managing a full team as demand continues to grow.

What You'll Do:

Perform HVAC service, repair, and installation work. Review incoming bid requests and prepare accurate quotes and proposals. Meet with clients, build relationships, and close deals. Develop pricing and quoting systems for long-term growth. Work with leadership to build and scale the HVAC division. Recruit, train, and manage additional technicians and staff as business expands. At the start: manage both the

technical and sales side

until more staff are in place.

What We're Looking For:

Licensed HVAC Technician (or equivalent experience). Strong technical background in service, installation, and troubleshooting. Sales skills: quoting jobs, communicating with clients, and closing deals. Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to take ownership of building a division. Independent, motivated, and leadership-oriented.

Compensation & Growth:

Base salary

$90,000

depending on experience.

Incentives & bonuses tied to performance.

Earning potential up to $250,000/year

as the division grows and strong incentive structures are put in place. (within the first year) Long-term career growth into a senior leadership role, with full support from ownership to build your own team.
