Duties

Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon environment to ensure client safety and comfort. Engage with clients to understand their hair care goals and offer personalized recommendations. Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and promote salon offerings. Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling transactions. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide informed recommendations to clients. Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional service.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for clients. Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and treatments. Knowledge of sanitation practices within the salon environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Experience in retail sales is a plus, with an ability to upsell products confidently. Pay: $18.50-$32.81 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
