Celebrity Hair Stylist and owner of The Cellar Salon, Aaron O'Bryan is excited to announce that he is opening a NEW LOCATION in Pickering! Our aim is to create the perfect combination of a fun, cozy, salon environment with the added benefit of having the best hair in the city.

Providing Senior level hair services for guests including, but not limited to: Wash, blow-drys, Up-styles , colour services including highlighting and balayage techniques, cutting and extension services.

Maintain cleanliness at your station and throughout salon. Market your services and expertise to maximize the number of new and retaining clients Relay any issues or concerns for discussion to management Other duties as assigned by management on occasion and as needed

Responsibilities

Deliver a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences. Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients and offering personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals. Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments. Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations to clients. Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Proficiency in various hair styling techniques and knowledge of current trends. Familiarity with sanitation practices and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment. Experience in retail sales is a plus, with the ability to upsell products effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear interaction with clients and team members. A valid cosmetology license is required. You must have a valid Canadian hair licence to perform hair services. Over 2 years total experience in the hair industry. Educated in Retail Clientele Encouraged
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$36.38 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
