We are seeking a seasoned, talented Hairstylist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills while providing exceptional hair styling services to our valued clients. You will play a key role in enhancing the overall client experience through outstanding customer service and effective communication.

Responsibilities

Provide a range of hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon environment to ensure client safety and comfort. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations for hair care and styling products. Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals. Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide clients with informed advice. Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio (social media) showcasing your work. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques, products, and sanitation practices. Ability to upsell services and retail products effectively while maintaining a positive client experience. Exceptional communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. Experience with front desk operations is a plus, including appointment scheduling and cash handling. A valid licence or apprenticeship with Skilled Trades Ontario
