Duties

Provide professional hair cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering expert recommendations Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools to ensure client safety Upsell retail hair care products and additional salon services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out procedures, and client inquiries Build lasting relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to provide innovative styling options

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barber license in accordance with state requirements Proven experience in hair styling, cutting, coloring, and treatments Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to enhance client experience and salon sales Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required A professional appearance with a friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$38.94 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
