Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Hairstylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be creative, professional, and committed to delivering excellent client service. We welcome juniors and recent graduates who hold a valid New Brunswick Cosmetology (Hairstylist) license, which requires completion of 1,600 training hours.
This is a commission-only position (no hourly wage), offering strong earning potential and flexibility. With our captive campus audience, you'll benefit from being located in a busy student and professional hub, giving you a unique opportunity to build your clientele and grow your career.
Responsibilities
? Provide hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling? Communicate with clients to understand their desired look and offer advice? Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations? Assist with phone calls, scheduling, and client records? Stay current with styling trends, products, and techniques? Build strong client relationships through excellent customer service
Requirements
? At least 8 months of hairstyling experience (juniors and recent graduates are welcome)? Valid NB Cosmetology (Hairstylist) License - requires completion of 1,600 training hours? Strong communication and customer service skills? Knowledge of hair styling techniques, products, and trends? Familiarity with sanitation practices and industry standards
