Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hairstylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, and styling, with a flair for creating looks that leave clients feeling confident and refreshed. Preference will be given to stylists who bring their own clientele, though we also provide opportunities to grow your client base through our spa and salon network. This role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service and cleanliness.

Duties

Provide a wide range of hairstyling services, including cutting, coloring, highlights, treatments, and styling. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering personalized service to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in compliance with industry regulations. Recommend and promote retail haircare products to support client needs and maximize results. Stay current on trends, techniques, and industry innovations to bring fresh ideas to the salon. Collaborate with the salon team to create a welcoming, supportive, and professional environment. (Optional/Preferred) Bring and manage your own clientele, while also welcoming new clients.

Qualifications

Valid hairstylist license/certification from an accredited institution. Proven experience in a salon setting with a strong portfolio of cuts, colors, and styles. Existing clientele is highly desirable. Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to connect and build rapport. Knowledge of haircare products and retail sales experience is an asset. Commitment to maintaining sanitation and safety protocols. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsabilites

Offrir une gamme complete de services de coiffure, incluant coupes, colorations, meches, traitements et coiffage. Developper et maintenir des relations solides avec la clientele en offrant un service personnalise garantissant satisfaction et fidelite. Maintenir des normes elevees de proprete et de salubrite, en conformite avec les reglements de l'industrie. Recommander et promouvoir des produits capillaires au detail afin de repondre aux besoins des clients et d'optimiser les resultats. Se tenir a jour sur les tendances, techniques et innovations de l'industrie pour apporter de nouvelles idees au salon. Collaborer avec l'equipe du salon afin de creer un environnement accueillant, solidaire et professionnel. (Optionnel/Prefere) Apporter et gerer votre propre clientele, tout en accueillant de nouveaux clients.

Qualifications

Permis/certification de coiffure valide d'un etablissement accredite. Experience confirmee en salon, avec un solide portfolio de coupes, colorations et coiffures. Clientele existante fortement souhaitee. Excellentes competences en service a la clientele et en communication, avec la capacite de creer des liens et de batir une relation de confiance. Connaissance des produits capillaires; experience en vente au detail un atout. Engagement envers le respect des protocoles d'hygiene et de securite. Capacite a travailler de facon autonome tout en collaborant efficacement avec l'equipe.
