We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every client.

Duties

Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools to ensure a safe environment for clients. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations. Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales. Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide clients with the best options. The starting wage will be from minimum wage and tips will be given on top. Increase in wage will depend upon skill and customer satisfaction.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Proficiency in various hair styling techniques and knowledge of hair care products. Excellent sanitation practices to maintain hygiene standards. Ability to upsell services and retail products effectively. Strong communication skills for clear interaction with clients and team members. Experience in retail sales is a plus, enhancing the overall client experience. Familiarity with front desk operations is beneficial for managing appointments and client inquiries. We're looking for a talented stylist who is confident and experienced in:

Haircuts: Precision cutting for men and women, including layers, pixie cuts, graduated bobs, and skin fades. Chemical Services: Perming, hair botox, smoothing, and permanent straightening. Color Services: Root touch-ups, full color, highlights, lowlights, color correction, and toner application. Styling: Blow-dries, blowouts, curls, Hollywood waves, and flat-iron styles. Hair Treatments: Professional treatments, shampoos, and conditioners to enhance and maintain healthy hair.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and consultation skills to understand client needs. Strong customer service mindset with a friendly and professional attitude. Team player who contributes to a positive, supportive salon environment. Attention to detail and commitment to providing an exceptional client experience. Punctual, reliable, and eager to continue learning and growing in the industry.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
