Overview

We are seeking a Hairdresser who can provide high-quality hair care services to residents in both Assisted Living and Independent Living Suites at Kenny's Pond. The ideal candidate is approachable, professional, and able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including both weekdays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide salon services for Assisted Living and Independent Living residents.

Provide washing services for Assisted Living and Independent Living residents.

Escort residents to and from their suites for appointments.

Maintain inventory for salon supplies.

Maintain salon stocks as per business needs.

Schedule appointments efficiently to accommodate residents' needs and availability.

Maintain salon's cleanliness and hygienic procedures.

Ensure all safety standards are met while doing the hair care service.

Provide consistent quality

Qualifications:

Abilities and Skills:

Licensed Hairdresser/Stylist with experience in a salon or senior care setting is preferred. Ability to work weekdays and weekends as needed. Patient, compassionate and committed to working with seniors. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Energetic and outgoing personality. Strong organizational skills for scheduling and inventory management.

Hours of Work:

Normal Part-Time bi-weekly hours shall be a minimum of 40 hours.

Shifts will be days including weekdays and weekends.

Rate of Pay:

$23.55 per hour as per the current Collective Agreement
