Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM) & Saturday-Sunday (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

Position Summary:We are seeking a qualified Tumbling Coach to teach Kinder gym through Level 3 tumbling programs, Recreational to Intermediate skills such as Back handsprings and Layouts A successful candidate must love working with young children, be adaptable and excited to work with fellow coaches on rotations and event circuits etc. We pride ourselves in being a collaborative group of coaches! This is a part-time position ideal for someone passionate about working with children, skilled in foundational tumbling, and aligned with our core values.

Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, engaging, and structured tumbling lessons Manage groups of children ages 4-15 effectively Communicate respectfully with children, parents, and coworkers Maintain class structure, behaviour standards, and gym safety Demonstrate teamwork and uphold gym policies
Coaching Duties:

Responsible for coaching 45, 60 and 90 minute tumbling classes Nurture and develop all athletes' potential skills and abilities. Identify strengths and weaknesses of athletes. Analyse and evaluate athletes' performances and modify training programs as needed. Non-Coaching Duties: Communicate with parents on an as needed basis in a timely and professional manner. Work collaboratively with other coaches to plan special events. Attend any scheduled coaches' meetings, and technical/planning meetings as required. Other duties and tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Age 21 to 50 Minimum 2 years of gymnastics or tumbling experience At least 2 years coaching children aged 4-15 Relevant certifications (NCCP, B.Ed., Kinesiology, etc.) Eligible to work in Canada NCCP education Respect in Sport Police Record Check Be energetic and actively foster a positive environment Be approachable and solution oriented with superior verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Making Ethical Decisions First Aid Certification Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search will be required North Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person
Compensation & Benefits:
