Part-Time Guitar Instructor
to teach private, one-on-one lessons in our brand-new studios.
What You'll Do
Teach engaging private lessons covering technique, repertoire, improvisation, and theory for students of all ages--from first-time players to advanced performers.
Design individualized lesson plans that reflect each student's goals and preferred styles (rock, pop, classical, blues, metal, etc.).
Prepare students for recitals, track progress, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
Cultivate a positive, motivating studio atmosphere that encourages creativity and confidence.
Coordinate scheduling with our administrative team and start every lesson on time.
Required Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years of proven private-lesson teaching experience on guitar.
Formal education in music--Bachelor's or Diploma in Music, Music Education, or equivalent specialization in guitar performance/pedagogy.
Recognized teaching credential (e.g., RCM Guitar Teacher certification or equivalent) is a strong asset.
Excellent interpersonal skills--patient, enthusiastic, and able to connect with children, teens, and adult learners.
Flexible part-time availability, including at least one evening or Saturday teaching block.
Professionalism and teamwork: punctual, organized, and committed to a friendly learning environment.
