Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Guitar Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a love for teaching students of all ages, particularly children. As a Guitar Instructor, you will be responsible for providing engaging lessons that foster a love for music while developing students' skills and confidence on the guitar.

Duties

Conduct individual and group guitar lessons tailored to the needs and skill levels of students. Develop lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods and materials to enhance learning experiences. Educate students on music theory, technique, and performance skills. Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Maintain communication with parents regarding student development and any concerns. Organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements. Collaborate with other instructors to create a well-rounded music education program.

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching music, particularly guitar, is highly desirable. Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of music theory and guitar techniques. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. Background in early childhood education is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students and parents. A passion for music and teaching, with the ability to inspire students of all ages.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
