About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled

with strong hands-on experience in

Guidewire PolicyCenter

, and working knowledge of

BillingCenter

ClaimCenter

. The ideal candidate should be proficient in

Guidewire integrations

enterprise-grade design patterns

, with prior exposure to

insurance systems and processes

.

This role involves configuring and developing complex business workflows, integrating systems using APIs, and ensuring scalable and secure delivery aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with

business analysts

,

users

, and

technical teams

to gather and analyze business requirements. Configure and customize

Guidewire PolicyCenter

to implement business rules, workflows, and UI enhancements. Develop

Guidewire components

using

GOSU

,

Integration Plugins

,

Messaging

, and

REST APIs

. Apply

Guidewire coding standards

, best practices, and design patterns throughout development. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing efficient solutions and workarounds for critical requirements. Prepare and maintain detailed

design documentation

, including field mappings, data definitions, and rule configurations. Ensure solutions comply with

security

,

performance

, and

scalability

standards. Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities impacting project deliverables and propose mitigation plans. Collaborate effectively with

onshore and offshore teams

to deliver high-quality implementations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.

6 years

of overall experience in

application development

, preferably within the

insurance domain

.

4-5 years

of hands-on experience in

Guidewire PolicyCenter

(and/or BillingCenter, ClaimCenter integrations). Certified in

Guidewire Cloud Platform

or equivalent specialization (PolicyCenter preferred). Strong understanding of

Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance

processes and workflows. Proficient in

GOSU

,

Java

,

SOAP/REST APIs

, and

Guidewire Integration Frameworks

. Solid understanding of

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

and

enterprise integration design patterns

. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities to engage business and technical stakeholders.

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
