About the Role

We are looking for a skilled

Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

with hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in

GOSU development

,

REST integrations

, and

enterprise insurance systems

, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality solutions aligned with business needs.

This position requires close collaboration with business users, analysts, and technical teams to translate complex requirements into scalable Guidewire configurations and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Work with business users, BAs, and team members to understand and analyze business requirements. Configure, build, and develop

Guidewire PolicyCenter

components using

GOSU

,

Integration Plugins

,

Messaging

, and

REST APIs

. Implement complex business rules, workflows, and configuration changes. Apply

Guidewire coding standards

, design patterns, and best practices to ensure high-quality solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing effective workarounds for critical requirements. Adhere to

enterprise security

and

performance

standards. Prepare and maintain

design and technical documentation

-- including field mappings, data definitions, and rule configurations. Identify and mitigate risks affecting program or project deliverables. Collaborate effectively with

onshore and offshore vendor teams

. Stay up to date with the latest Guidewire Cloud Platform updates and digital implementation best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.

6-8 years

of application development experience, preferably within the

insurance domain

.

5+ years

of hands-on experience with

Guidewire PolicyCenter

(PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter integration).

Guidewire Cloud Platform Certification

(PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter). Solid understanding of

Property & Casualty Insurance (P&C)

. Proficient in

GOSU

,

Java

,

REST APIs

, and

XML/JSON

. Strong knowledge of

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

principles. Good understanding of

enterprise integration design patterns

and system architecture. Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet fast-paced deadlines. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
