Create exceptional experiences in remarkable destinations We are looking for an experienced Guest Service Manager to join our team at our beautiful resort in the British Columbia Rocky Mountains. The Guest Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort\'s guest services department and ensuring that all owners and guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay. What you\'ll be doing
Manage and supervise the daily operations of the resort\'s guest services department, including the front desk, and owner relations.
Hire, train, and supervise a team of guest services staff members, ensuring that they provide exceptional service to all guests.
Develop and implement guest service standards and procedures, ensuring that all staff members are trained and adhere to these standards.
Manage guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate owner and guest records and ensure that all guest requests and needs are met promptly.
Work with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure that guest needs are met and that the resort operates smoothly.
Monitor and control expenses related to guest services department operations.
Collaborate with other managers to plan and execute resort events and activities.
Ensure compliance with all resort policies, procedures, and regulations.
Who you are
Minimum one-year experience within a Front Office or Reservations team or equivalent customer-facing role with an understanding of service processes for both guests and owners
Professional, well organized and thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask
Delights in demonstrating a passion for guest service with abilities to anticipate guests needs
Post-secondary education in hospitality, or a related field would be an advantage
A working knowledge of hotel systems, specifically Room Master would be a strong benefit
Reliable and responsible team-based ethics
Has interest in working towards a career in the Hospitality / Tourism industry
Proficiency with computers systems required, such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Email
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities
Focused individual with excellent attention to detail and numbers, with basic understanding of accounting concepts
