Job Description

We are looking for engaging and service orientated individuals to join our team here at the Sheraton Cavalier Calgary Hotel. We are a large 300 + room property with restaurant, fine dining, pub, and lounge. We boast a large swimming pool complete with water slides as well as event and meeting space. Our goal is to consistently go above and beyond for our staff, our community, and our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greeting guests on arrival, offering directions, and assistance as needed. Driving airport shuttle to pick up and drop off hotel guests. Assisting guests with luggage to and from rooms. Tagging, storage and retrieval of guest luggage. Collecting and distributing guest laundry. Room checks for the front desk when needed. Delivery of V.I.P.'s and any guest related items. Floor walks, and pick up and delivery of cots, cribs, etc. Room Service order preparation and delivery. Responding to and solving noise complaints with courtesy and diplomacy Regular interior and exterior building/parking lot rounds. Provide management with nightly security report. Perform all duties in a safe manner according to established safe work practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have valid drivers license with clean driving record. Must be 18 for the purposes of serving alcohol. Previous customer service experience. Friendly and professional demeanor. Physically fit; bending, lifting and pushing carts necessary. Must be able to perform duties without supervision. Must be fluent in English, written and spoken. Availability on Fridays & Saturdays required
Days of the week vary according to business levels.

Guest Service Shifts are 4:30am - 1:00pm; or 1pm - 9:30pm; weekends and holidays required.

Security Shifts are generally overnight.
