We are looking for an ASO Specialist to grow our player base within a portfolio of App/Play store listings worldwide. This is a unique role for an exceptional digital marketer who will have a high impact on the success of our games. In this cross functional position you will support Kabam\'s ASO strategy, optimize our portfolio of app store listings to improve conversion and discoverability while defining and tracking key metrics for innovative ASO experiments and content initiatives. You will partner with Kabam product teams, ad-tech partners, creative leads and brand teams to ensure our portfolio of app store listings support Growth Marketing targets.

This is a hybrid role that can be based out of our Los Angeles or San Francisco offices.

As an ASO Specialist, you will:

  • Identify new growth opportunities including keyword recommendations and creative optimization opportunities while continuously monitoring the performance across the portfolio
  • Create rigorous A/B testing roadmaps for the games
  • Work with ASO tools and internal stakeholders to gain insights and identify areas for improvement
  • Work cross-functionally between product leaders, brand marketing, data science and creative to execute experimentations
  • Conduct marketplace analysis of Kabam\'s competition to support ASO optimization strategies
  • Collaborate with Growth Marketers to help drive success in user acquisition and retention goals
  • Stay informed of ASO trends and formulate new ideas to test
To be successful in this role, your background includes:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or at least 2+ years of equivalent professional ASO
  • Understand the impact of App Store Optimization (ASO) on ranking and conversion metrics across the portfolio
  • Knowledge of ASO best practices and algorithms for Apple App Store and Google Play (Steam is a plus)
  • Expert knowledge of A/B testing tools and platforms, including Apple\'s Product Page Optimization, Google Play store listing experiments, as well as third-party platforms (e.g., SplitMetrics, Storemaven, Geeklab)
  • Proven experience using ASO research and measurement tools such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower and
to run A/B tests * Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build meaningful and trustworthy relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Capable of operating on all levels to problem solve and achieve results
  • Be self-organized and prioritize work to ensure the ASO roadmap is optimized for size/scale against priority lines of business/markets
  • Mobile app experience in gaming, entertainment or social networks is a plus
  • Experience with optimizing growth campaigns using custom product pages
  • Familiarity with In-App Event cards and Promotional Content optimization strategies
  • Experience with paid media and search ads (e.g. Apple Search Ads) is a plus

$59,700 - $89,500 a year

This salary range is specific to candidates located in British Columbia. The salary of the successful candidate will vary within this range based on their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
