About WEWELL:
WEWELL is a modern wellness and longevity studio in Vancouver's Fairview neighborhood. We take a holistic approach to health by integrating
strength training, recovery, nutrition, and mind-body practices
. Our newly renovated studio is home to a multidisciplinary team--including physiotherapists, kinesiologists, naturopathic doctors, Pilates instructors, yoga teachers, massage therapists, and osteopaths--working together to support client results.
We already have a
consistent volume of clients and fully booked classes
, so you'll have the opportunity to step into a busy schedule and start right away.
About the Role:
WEWELL is seeking a
Group Strength Fitness Instructor
with
a minimum of 5 years' experience
teaching group strength-based classes. The ideal candidate can deliver
dynamic and engaging strength workouts
while paying close attention to form, technique, and safety. You will help clients get stronger and more confident in their training, while ensuring movements are performed correctly to maximize results and minimize risk of injury.
Responsibilities:
Lead
multiple weekly strength group classes
Deliver structured workouts that emphasize safe, progressive strength training
Adapt exercises to accommodate all fitness levels while maintaining class flow
Provide clear coaching cues and close attention to movement quality and safety
Foster a motivating and supportive class environment
Collaborate with other WEWELL practitioners to ensure alignment in client care
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years of experience
teaching group strength-based fitness classes
Certification through a recognized fitness organization (ACE, NASM, CFES, CanFitPro, etc.)
Strong knowledge of
functional strength training and biomechanics
Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills
Ability to provide detailed form corrections and ensure safe training practices
Current CPR/First Aid certification
