\xc2\xb7 Sales for Group Sales & Catering \xc2\xb7 Responsible for proposals and contract negotiations \xc2\xb7 Business development and promotion of existing business through account management, lost business accounts, prospecting within target market segments, solicitation and garnishing referrals. Work in a team environment among the sales and catering department. \xc2\xb7 Ensure highest quality of client satisfaction utilizing Opera to track, solicit, book and follow up on accounts \xc2\xb7 Conduct site inspections, client visits and trade shows and assigned association memberships \xc2\xb7 Demonstrate strong negotiation skills in working out contractual agreements with potential clients, quote and negotiate prices within established parameters. \xc2\xb7 Develop and recommend sales strategies to increase new accounts \xc2\xb7 Effectively service key accounts within market segment \xc2\xb7 Compile and analyze sales and product reports \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales SKILLS REQUIRED: \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and within a team environment \xc2\xb7 Superior communication, customer service, and negotiations skills \xc2\xb7 Excellent time management skills and organizational skills \xc2\xb7 Must be able to think creatively and be willing to take risks to improve results \xc2\xb7 Must be able to work flexible hours and travel as required for business purposes \xc2\xb7 Self motivated, progressive, proven initiative and ability to complete projects
within realistic timelines \xc2\xb7 Possess a professional and positive attitude EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• Previous Sales experience required
• Post Secondary Diploma or Degree

(Preferably in Hotel Management or Business Administration)

• 3-5 yrs previous Hospitality and/or Tourism experience preferred
