Job Description

HUB International is Saskatchewan's largest insurance brokerage and is dedicated to helping business and individuals evaluate their risks and manage their insurance needs.

The Group Benefits Service Advisor will assist with the administrative workload in the Employee Benefits Department.

Duties Included (but Not Limited To)

Communicate with clients, employees/retirees, and insurance carriers

Process employee/retiree enrolments, terminations, and changes on carrier sites and/or client systems

Produce monthly billing statements

Calculate monthly deductions and required adjustments

Compile new hire packages

Draft Employee communications

Create client and/or employee presentations

Update marketing materials

Review amendments and booklets

Qualifications

Proficient Microsoft Excel skills including running and creating functions, pivot tables and charts

Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Strong analytical, organizational, mathematical and prioritizing skills

Comfortable communicating with clients, employees and insurance carriers

Excellent written communication skills

Able to handle high volumes, meet multiple deadlines and time pressures

Strong team player and able to work independently

Commitment to education and ongoing development

Experience in a group insurance environment such as an insurance company, consulting firm or as a benefits plan administrator

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: No Travel Required

Required Education: Some college (no degree)
