Ground Person Asphalt Plant
Job Description
Park Paving Ltd. is a locally owned and operated company with over 50 years of experience in road construction. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Asphalt Plant Groundperson to join our team for the 2025 construction season. As an Asphalt Plant Groundperson, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and safe operation of the asphalt plant.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in the maintenance and repair of asphalt plant equipment and machinery
Monitoring and inspecting equipment to ensure proper functioning
Performing general labor tasks, including material handling and clean-up
Assisting with asphalt production and quality control
Operating equipment, such as man lift and loader, as needed
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Previous experience in the asphalt industry or a similar field is preferred but not required. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

General labor experience, preferably in a construction or similar industry Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Willingness to work night shifts as needed Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay Scale: Starting wage $20+ depending on experience
