Reporting to the Grooming Supervisor, the ideal candidate will be required to safely operate grooming equipment and carry out tasks that lead to superb skiing and riding products for the guests of the Lake Louise Ski Resort.
Job Responsibilities:
Build and maintain ski run surfaces through the safe and effective operating of Prinoth Snow cats
Transport supplies to and from lodges and other locations with boxes and barge trailers
Clean, lubricate and perform other minor cat repair and maintenance work
Performing safety/pre-start-up checks on equipment
Monitoring gauges/equipment at all times
Report defects, accidents, or damage to equipment
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Strong problem solving skills
Two or more previous seasons as a Snow Cat Operator required
Previous Winch Cat experience an asset
Previous Park grooming experience an asset
Self motivated, can work well in a team as well as independently
Must be in excellent physical condition, heavy lifting and manual labor may be required
Knowledge of the Lake Louise Ski Area is an asset
Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's license (or international equivalent) with clean driving record (abstract/traffic history report must be provided before commencement of employment)
Work Schedule:
5 days on / 2 days off
Evening and Night shifts
Dress Code:
Maintenance/Outdoor uniform to be discussed at time of interview
