Customer Service

cashier duties; POS making coffee and serving sandwiches & bakery items packaging customers groceries answering general questions about products taking special orders in person or by phone
Packaging

efficiently packaging bakery/cafe items attention to detail (proper labeling & dating) displaying products neatly
Stocking

understand the proper care of produce must have strong organizational skills able to receive deliveries
Successful Candidate must have the following attributes:

attention to detail strong organizational skills strong customer service skills and POS experience strong multitasking skills ability to self manage Valid Food Handlers Certificate

Shifts are evenings and weekends.

Permanent Saturday/Sunday shifts with occasional evening shifts 5-8:30pm -- 12-20hrs/week

Summary

As a Grocery/Cafe Associate, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment for shoppers. Your core skills in cash handling, POS systems, and communication will enable you to assist customers effectively while managing transactions. With a focus on organizational skills and food safety, including a Food Handler Certification, you will ensure that products are well-stocked and presented. Your ability to manage time efficiently and engage with customers will enhance their shopping experience, making you a vital part of our team in a fast-paced retail setting.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
