Our client is looking for an experienced manager to help run the day-to-day operations of their grocery store. With your team behind you, this dynamic role is responsible for the overall operations and performance of the store, driving the store sales, and increasing store profitability.In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for human resources, scheduling, cash management, customer service, sales, and merchandising.This exciting position offers a great base salary with the opportunity for bonuses.Desired Skills & Experience:

  • MUST have a degree, diploma or certificate in Business Administration with 1 year of retail grocery management experience; or High School Diploma with a minimum of three years of retail grocery management experience.
  • Working knowledge of Point of Sales system, Accounting software, Word processing software, Database software, Electronic email, and spreadsheets
  • Experience in reporting and budgeting for a grocery store
  • MUST have leadership experience in supervising, training, and developing staff
  • Strong general computer literacy skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong understanding of financial acumen
  • Able to supervise 5-10 people
  • Able to handle to lift and/or move 50 lbs
  • Experience working within a First Nation\xe2\x80\x99s community would be an asset
  • Must have a driver\'s license
  • Must be Bondable and able to pass a Criminal Record Check
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Must be willing to relocate to rural Yukon
