Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profitability.Duties:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations (store and bed and breakfast) \xc2\xb7- Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues.- Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff.- Onboard, train and supervise staff and ensure policies and procedures are met and establish work schedules.- Oversee operations of the store and bed & breakfast; maintain vendor relationships and determine onboarding new vendors.- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for the provision of materials and supplies for the store, manage restocking and inventory control system.- Assist clients/guests of their needs, coordinate turnover schedule with cleaning crew and ensure the quality of turnover.- Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities such repairs of equipment and appliances.- Address customers\' complaints or concerns.Qualifications:
- Proven experience in store management or a similar role- College Degree or Diploma ideally in Business or Hospitality
- Strong knowledge of retail operations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as payroll and scheduling
- Experience in interviewing and hiring staff
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively
