Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profitability. Duties:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations (store and bed and breakfast) \xc2\xb7 - Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues. - Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff. - Onboard, train and supervise staff and ensure policies and procedures are met and establish work schedules. - Oversee operations of the store and bed & breakfast; maintain vendor relationships and determine onboarding new vendors. - Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for the provision of materials and supplies for the store, manage restocking and inventory control system. - Assist clients/guests of their needs, coordinate turnover schedule with cleaning crew and ensure the quality of turnover. - Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities such repairs of equipment and appliances. - Address customers\' complaints or concerns. Qualifications:
- Proven experience in store management or a similar role - College Degree or Diploma ideally in Business or Hospitality
- Strong knowledge of retail operations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as payroll and scheduling
- Experience in interviewing and hiring staff
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively
