Lucky Supermarket is seeking an experienced

Grocery Manager

to join our team at our

Edmonton South

location.

Position Summary

The Grocery Manager is responsible for overseeing all grocery department operations, ensuring excellent customer service, strong team performance, and compliance with company standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Stock shelves and ensure displays are clean, organized, and well maintained Manage and control back stock inventory Oversee receiving and the receiving area Build innovative and eye-catching product displays Ensure all paperwork and procedures are completed according to standard operating procedures Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve customer and staff issues Work closely with vendors, merchants, Assistant Store Managers (ASMs), and Store Managers (SMs) Communicate, delegate, and follow up on daily tasks Motivate staff to achieve high levels of performance Ensure all required training is completed on company policies, procedures, reports, and culture Teach, train, recognize, and reward staff for strong performance

Candidate Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience working in an Asian grocery store (required)

Previous management experience in a grocery environment Experience with product buying and display building Familiarity with Asian grocery products and vendors Ability to operate power and manual pallet jacks Strong interpersonal and people-management skills Friendly, courteous, mature, and customer-focused Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work under pressure while producing high-quality work Flexible availability, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
