We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Master to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Grill Master, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meats, vegetables, and other items on the grill according to menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Assist with meal preparation and food handling tasks as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
Follow all restaurant policies and procedures related to food service and kitchen operations.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods, particularly grilling.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, and ovens.
Excellent understanding of food safety standards and practices within the food industry.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Good communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff.
Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is preferred but not required.
