Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for insuring the golf course will be maintained to the highest standards as specified by the Board of directors.

Responsibilities

Perform golf course maintenance including mowing, trimming, seeding, weed control and pruning to ensure a healthy and attractive golf course Assist with gardening activities Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency Support overall site cleanliness by removing debris, leaves, and waste from landscaped areas Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscape projects that may be required around the course

Requirements

Experience with hand tools, power tools, and course maintenance equipment Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance practices is a plus Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in outdoor environments Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate First Aid course will be required Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
