Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Greenhouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our greenhouse facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in horticulture and agriculture, with hands-on experience in plant care and greenhouse management. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a team while ensuring optimal growing conditions for our plants.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily activities in the greenhouse, ensuring all operations run smoothly. Coordinate, assign and supervise the work of general farm labor. Supervise and oversee plants shipping. Supervise, monitor and enforce procedures Develop work schedules and establish procedures for the are supervising Ensure farm safety, food safety and security and bio-security procedures are followed Maintain quality control and production records May perform general farm duties

Qualifications

Proven 2 years experience in greenhouse setting Strong understanding of irrigation systems, plant identification, and horticultural practices. Basic math skills for measuring fertilizers, water levels, and other essential calculations. Physical fit to outdoor work, including the ability to lift heavy objects as needed. Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with other departments.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
