Job Description
- Team Lead for order processing and shipping
- Working in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Picking orders for customers and preparing them for delivery
- Required to visually inspect quality of the plants when picking for the orders
- Apply UPC\xe2\x80\x99s, labels and care tags
- Apply upgrades
- Pack product in trays and boxes
- Load pallets
- All tasks must be performed in an efficient and timely manner
- Time management and organizational skills is required
- Ability to work independently, as well as ability to keep yourself on task to meet deadlines
- Planting and spacing succulents
- Succulent and other plant care
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Fluent in English
- Accurate record keeping is required
- The ideal applicant would be comfortable with high amounts of physical activity; must be able to bend to ground level, lift from ground level, and be on your feet all day
- Must be able to maintain a reasonable steady work pace
- Must be able to work well individually and as part of a team to meet an overall departmental objective
- Indoor greenhouse environment, with potential exposure to excessive heat during warmer seasons
- Greenhouse: 1 year minimum
- Experience working in shipping with plants a definite asset but not required
- On-site parking
- Day shift
