Salary: Payband G Min ($30.87) - Max ($35.77)
What you will do:
Under the direction of the Arboretum Manager and Landscaping Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for a wide range of tasks involving the maintenance and operation of the greenhouse complex and Arboretum plant collections in its support of instructional programs and the Arboretum. These programs include the Landscape Technician, Horticulture and Arborist Apprenticeships, Urban Arboriculture and various specialized courses offered by the School of Applied Technology.

The Humber Arboretum is a thriving natural ecosystem and outdoor learning space that advances the highest potential and well-being of the community through strengthening our relationships with nature and with each other. Encompassing 100 hectares at the back of Humber College North Campus, the Humber Arboretum is free to visit and offers a variety of programming to both Humber College students and the general public. It exists as a unique tri-partnership between Humber College, City of Toronto, and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. The Centre for Urban Ecology (CUE) is home to the Humber Arboretum\xe2\x80\x99s educational programs and special events.
