Main duties:

Meet and consult with clients or other team members to determine requirements and vision for design element in order to meet their needs..
Create multiple different versions of a similar product and send them through approvals that meet the clients' objectives.
Find out about the most popular designs in printing and finishing operations industry to keep up with market demand.
Estimate cost of materials and time to complete graphic design.
Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
Review finalized materials to be sure there are no errors.. Work with internal technology software and hardware.
Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians.
Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations and may adapt existing illustrations.. Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials, such as Web sites, CDs and interactive terminals.

Employment requirements:

Experience or training in multimedia design at a post-secondary, college or technical institution.
One year relevant work experience with creative ability.
