Job Description

We are looking for a Graphic Designer for our in-house Marketing department.

Position Type: 18-month maternity leave coverage.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Solid design and conceptual skills Strong knowledge of page layout and photographic requirements Strong knowledge of printing/publishing procedures and standards Website updates - knowledge of WordPress Effective written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team. Effective deadline management and project management skills Strong interpretive skills to analyze technical information and create illustrations Routing requests to the right people within the organization Providing one-on-one attention with the issues needing to be resolved
Job Duties

Design electronic and printed materials for trade exhibits, displays, publications, marketing materials, Web sites, and other channels. Design JPEGs, PDFs, video, clip art, graphs, charts, thumbnail images, and other design elements. Create electronic page Designs using publishing. Conceptualize and layout the design of flyers, advertisements, brochures, logos, signage, and other exhibits/displays. Plan production schedules and workflow for the entire design/Design process. Integrate multimedia concepts with technical graphic design elements, as appropriate. Develop specifications and standards for printing and other production. Inspect proofs for accuracy and adherence to corporate standards. Participate in strategic planning meetings on a project-by-project basis. Coordinate and maintain a library of graphics, media, digital records, and other enterprise content. Where necessary, write and edit marketing copy, Web copy, etc. Perform other duties as assigned. Protection, conservation and maintenance of the company's assets.

Pay: $36,567.18-$53,000.00 per year
