Job Title: Graphic Designer Reports To: Marketing & Communications Manager Location: Head Office Status: Full-Time, Permanent Purpose The Graphic Designer will support the overall digital experience and content strategy by producing quality designs and implementing our marketing strategy that will help bring Urbandale Construction\xe2\x80\x99s digital content to the forefront of the residential construction industry. In this role, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating fun, impactful residential construction-centric visuals for all our promotional materials, both print and digital mediums. Key Responsibilities Graphic Designer
  • Manage projects from initial creative brief to finished output while communicating status to all stakeholders effectively;
  • Work with external partner(s) and promoter brands to align their creative requests with our internal brand guidelines;
  • Assist in creating a consistent voice and style representing Urbandale Construction;
  • Maintain a firm grasp on design trends as well as emerging media;
  • Design collateral (posters, cover pages, brochures, banners, digital media) and supporting graphics, illustrations and presentations for print and/or digital formats;
  • Photographing products and editing photos to be used on our website, promotional materials etc.;
  • Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;
  • Contribute to the overall creativity of the organization by pushing the brand in new directions, brainstorming new ideas/applications and playing an active role within the Marketing team.
General
  • Contribute to the overall development of Urbandale Construction strategies and plans;
  • Ensure the values of Urbandale Construction, including but not limited to sustainability, social responsibility, cost effectiveness and accountability are reflected in your work;
  • Any other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Marketing or similar
  • residential construction experience preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, XD)
  • Experience with web design and website management (Knowledge of basic HTML & CSS)
  • Photography (Production to editing)
  • UX/UI design experience
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and advertising approaches and best practices
  • Knowledge of the print production process and ability to create and manage production
  • Familiarity with website publishing and digital content maintenance utilizing a CMS
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms like MailChimp
You may also have
  • Video editing and post-production experience (After Effects, Premiere)
  • Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design Software (AutoCAD, Revit)

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits:

  • Graphic design: 1 year (preferred)
