Position Description:

CPA Ontario is seeking an experienced and creative Graphic Designer. Reporting to the Studio Manager, you will develop, execute, and support marketing initiatives for large campaigns and various projects as an integral part of the Marketing and Communications team.

Major Responsibilities:

• Design visually appealing graphics for print, web and social media that meet corporate brand standards
• Work closely with internal business units to assess creative needs and execute design directions based on campaign and project objectives
• Develop and execute creative concepts from ideation to delivery
• Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to brainstorm creative and relevant design ideas
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, agencies, printers and suppliers to create cohesive designs that reflect CPA Ontario\xe2\x80\x99s brand position
• Build the brand through consistent and effective usage of brand imagery
• Produce presentations for leadership and create presentation templates in PowerPoint
• Produce HTML / graphics and function as back up to create marketing emails and newsletters
• Create graphics for website, social media, and email use
• Create designs for displays, conferences, external and internal events, advertisements, and promotional materials

Qualification Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree, diploma or equivalent in Graphic Design required
• 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in marketing and graphic design (digital and print media) required
• A Proven creative and innovative thinker with a high attention to detail and the ability to deliver ideas to internal clients
• Strong proficiency in both PC and Mac platforms, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud, specifically InDesign, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Acrobat Professional
• Knowledgeable in current design and communication trends, technology and best practices
• Ability to manage and prioritize workload across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring the delivery of high quality design and timelines are met
• Motivated and independent self-starter with a positive attitude and a passion for outstanding client satisfaction
• Effective communicator with the ability to present creative concepts
• UX design and digital assets for social media, websites and mobile experience is an asset
