The Opportunity (Role Summary) Summary
We are seeking a motivated Graphic Designer co-op/ intern who will assist in supporting the developers, copywriters, and UX designers to ensure the designs follow the fundamental principles, as needed, with their day-to-day responsibilities. This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing a career. As a graphic designer. You must be an actively enrolled post-secondary student completing co-op hours to be eligible for this role.
As TheAppLabb\xe2\x80\x99s Graphic Designer Intern/co-op, you will have the opportunity to establish and grow long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Your strong passion for relationship building, as well as your entrepreneurial spirit and aptitude, allows you to support your clients through holistic advice and conversations regarding their business needs. Applying your mindset for client acquisition, you will develop new businesses and deepen client relationships. By partnering with other innovative specialists across the organization, you will contribute to helping TheAppLabb achieve a dominant market position in mobile innovation and technology.
What you will do (Responsibilities)
The base responsibility

• Role Summary
• The intern is responsible for creating and improving visual designs across digital products built at TheAppLabb. The incumbent will work closely with developers, copywriters and UX designers to ensure the designs follow the fundamental principles.

• Responsibilities
• Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with developers, copywriters and UX designers.
• Create, improve, and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
• Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry\xe2\x80\x99s standards.
• Collaborate on creating illustrations & graphics as needed for design team members
• Offer recommended solutions to usability problems
• Access existing designs for accessibility compliance
• Help conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
• Rapidly iterate on design prototypes and working applications
• Other duties, as assigned

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll need (Required Qualifications)
Formal Education or Equivalent

• Pursuing a bachelor\'s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in technology, design, or equivalent experience

Experience

• Experience in design, documentation, process flows, visualization
