Job Description

We are looking for a Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator to execute the marketing and creative needs of our Retail Divisions- Peter & Paul's Gifts and Pure Event Design.The candidate must have savvy design skills & copy skills with a knack for social media and designing it visually through photography, IG reels and motion. In addition, the role manages the daily upkeep of all our online business including arranging and scheduling photography for new product, creating copy and uploading to our site. We love our gifts, and showcasing them beautifully through online catalogues, mailchimps and direct mail are the norm, so our designer must understand illustrator, photoshop, and adobe to execute quickly and precisely.The candidate cares about results, so understanding how social media works and adjusting content as needed is necessary as well as understanding key words, tagging and blogs for our Shopify site and Mailchimp accounts and sharing the results to senior management will be required.This role would allow you to design in a fast-paced environment while still having lots of creative freedom. There are constant opportunities to update graphics and many other creative elements. You would be regularly asked to pitch concepts and share your ideas about how you could improve segments visually.Key Responsibilities: Designing all marketing material and writing copy where needed to showcase our gifts. Driving and managing the social media content of all our retail accounts, this includes copy, creative, scheduling and analytics for regular content and paid ads. Increase social media engagement and followers as well as understand growth behind post to conversion to our website. Managing the daily upkeep of our ecommerce site. This includes removing and adding product to our Shopify site. Ability to upload and schedule Mailchimp newsletters, monitor uploading and removing subscribers. Strong writing skills a must as this role requires product descriptions, blog and social media copywriting. A results and data-driven mindset with a strong analytical capability and solid experience leveraging customer data to drive conversion are an asset along side a strong aesthetic that is aligned to our brand. Comfortable with Shopify and leveraging new feature requests, bug fixes, and testing. Website performance: constantly monitor and strive to improve website performance, speed and user journey Launch and measure product campaigns and seasonal sales. Website content management: ensure all online content, homepage assets, navigation, and product merchandising are aligned to meet all requirements on the content and marketing calendars.Experience: Possess an intermediate level graphic design foundation working with composition, hierarchy, shape, color and an understanding of typography Understanding of Print Production and output from Adobe Creative Graphic Designer 2-3 years experience 2-3 years working experience in ecommerce, and Social mediaJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per yearSchedule:
