Your role

As Computer Graphics Designer, you plan, create, develop, and execute graphic design concepts to support content for all types of programs and visual material.

Key duties:

Design and execute, as informed and instructed, visual elements (still or animated images) to support the content of any type of program and visual document.

Work with various stakeholders who will deliver services so that you can complete projects within production guidelines and schedules.

Keep up with the latest trends in the various arts, design and technology fields.

Assist in building and maintaining an image database (video, digital, etc.) for reference, consultation and integration purposes on projects.

Please note this is a casual, on-call, part-time opportunity and you will be called to work on different shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in graphic communications, interactive multimedia design (graphic design), or other relevant diploma
• One (1) or more years\xe2\x80\x99 experience performing similar or related duties

Skills:

• Proficiency with Photoshop
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects an asset
• Good knowledge of the media, especially the TV industry
• Good knowledge of current events and keen interest in working in a newsroom environment
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written French
• Knowledge of spoken and written English an asset
• Ability to work well under pressure for extended periods
• Excellent interpersonal skills
