Meet Fresh Prep \xe2\x80\x94 Western Canada\xe2\x80\x99s most convenient and sustainable meal kit delivery service.


As a certified B Corporation, we make convenient eating healthy and sustainable for the communities we operate in. We source quality local ingredients whenever possible, and deliver in reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging. We offer 10 chef-created meal kit recipes each week, with options for many lifestyles and preferences including vegetarian and vegan.

Fresh Prep has a PAID design internship available immediately for people with an interest in:

• hands-on experience developing marketing collateral for a well-loved BC brand
• 
  brand representation & marketing skills
• and other general business practices

This is a 3-month internship from June 5 to September 1 (13 weeks).


Position hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Compensation: $25/hour, bi-weekly pay

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working hands-on with the rest of our Marketing team to learn the skills you need to be successful in a business environment and not making coffee.


What You Will Be Doing :

• Introducing fresh ideas to create effective digital and print collateral.
• 
  Working closely with the Art Director to establish project direction.
• 
  Working as part of a team to solve creative challenges and present workable designs.
• 
  Ensuring brand consistency to maintain/develop brand recognition.
• 
  Producing high quality work while hitting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment.
• 
  Creating and maintaining digital and print marketing materials such as:
  • 
    Digital \xe2\x80\x93 Landing pages, digital ads, emails, infographics, web banners, social media posts and other assets
  • Print \xe2\x80\x93 Print ads, swag items, packaging, event displays and more.

Who We Are Looking For:

In this entry-level role, you will create high quality design materials for Western Canada\xe2\x80\x99s most loved meal kit delivery service. You must be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas to create designs that resonate with our target audience. You will be expected to take projects from concept to execution. Attention to detail, self-management and strong collaboration with the Marketing team is essential. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layout depending on the project.

Qualifications/Skills:

  High School Diploma
• 
  Current enrolment in a design program is considered an asset.
• 
  Ability to take direction while also possessing resilient problem-solving skills.
• 
  Must enjoy working independently and in a team environment.
• 
  Superior time management skills, coupled with the ability to organize and prioritize.
