Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
Supervise and motivate sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
Oversee merchandising, pricing, and inventory management to optimize product presentation and stock levels
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience
Manage POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering duties accurately and efficiently
Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new staff members
Assist with payroll processing, scheduling, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and record keeping
Collaborate with marketing initiatives to promote store events and sales campaigns
Monitor sales performance and develop strategies for improvement through sales management techniques
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Participate in budgeting activities and assist in controlling expenses to meet financial goals
Skills
Strong leadership abilities with previous supervising or team management experience
Excellent communication skills with proficiency in phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions
Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
Proficient in retail sales techniques, merchandising, pricing strategies, and POS systems
Sound knowledge of retail management principles including store management, sales management, budgeting, and marketing
Effective negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing decisions
Experienced in recruiting, training & development, interviewing, and performance coaching
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently using time management techniques
Administrative experience including bookkeeping, payroll processing, and record keeping
Math skills necessary for cash handling, pricing calculations, and financial analysis
Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional shopping experiences
