Job Description
LaPrairie Works Inc., leader in highway and bridge maintenance and civil construction in Alberta is looking for an experienced Grader Operator to be part of the and join our well-established concrete and aggregate division in Slave Lake, Alberta.Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe work operations and full compliance to operating procedures.
- Drive and operate required specialized grading equipment.
- Receive directions from site foreman regarding day-to-day operations and tasks.
- Pre-& post inspection checks of the equipment.
- Maintain accurate records in equipment log.
- Responsible for and/or assists in fueling and filling all the fluids in the equipment to the right level. Quantity of fuel and fluids must be reported in the inspection log.
- Assist in the maintenance works of the equipment.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices at worksites and on equipment.
- Prepare and submit required daily reports.
- Perform other functions such as needed.
- Must possess a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and a clean drivers abstract.
- Must have Grader Operator experience.
- Experience operating other heavy-duty equipment is an asset.
