What does your day at GIP look like?

Under the direction of the Project Manager/Supervisor perform finish grade work on highways/sites to specification control. This work is subject to strict inspection and must conform closely to specifications. Responsible for equipment checks and maintenance of machine. Follow safe working procedures and wear proper personal protective equipment.

Experience with fine grading and finishing of gravel for paving. Knowledge of GPS and grade control systems Must be able to operate grader in a safe and efficient manner. Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract. Ability to travel throughout Manitoba. Work long hours in all weather conditions. Ability to adapt and adjust to various other assignments as requested by the Supervisor. Able to do manual labour if required. Must be able to communicate well with coworkers.
