Job Description

Central New Brunswick Woodlands is seeking a skilled Grader Operator to join our team. The successful candidate of this unionized position, will be responsible for operating a grader to maintain and construct forestry roads, ensuring safe and efficient access for logging and transportation activities.

Operate a grader to build, maintain, and repair forestry roads. Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations. Work collaboratively with other operators and supervisors to meet project timelines. Report any mechanical issues or hazards promptly. Be able to work different shifts as needed including days, nights and weekends. Actively take part in training and coaching activities. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Previous experience operating as a grader in forestry or construction settings. Valid Class 5 driver's license; Class 1 or 3 license considered an asset. Strong understanding of road building and grading techniques. Ability to work independently and in remote locations. Commitment to workplace safety and environmental best practices. * Be able to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
