Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the position of Grade Foreman.

The Grade Foreman will oversee and coordinate grading and excavation activities on construction sites. Responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications, the Grade Foreman will lead a team of laborers and operators to deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes, including quality control, budgeting, and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety regulations. Review blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of plans. Operate and oversee the use of grading equipment. Provide guidance and supervision to construction teams, fostering a collaborative work environment. Perform quality control assessments to confirm that work meets established standards.

Skills

Skilled in using GPS tools, SiteDocs and Microsoft office to support field operations. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead teams effectively. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, including quality control measures and budgeting practices. Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret grades accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results in a timely manner. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
